Apple Watch Apps Begin Showing Up in the App Store Ahead of Apple Watch Launch
Ahead of the Apple Watch’s upcoming April 24 launch, apps that include Apple Watch support are beginning to be released in the App Store. As of today, several popular iOS apps have been updated with built-in Apple Watch apps, including Evernote, Dark Sky, Things, and Target.
Additional apps with Apple Watch support will be rolling out over the course of the day, giving us a first look at how many of the apps on the device will function. We’ll be updating this post with a list of Apple Watch apps that are available as they come out in the App Store.
According to Evernote‘s app description, for example, users will be able to dictate notes into the Apple Watch, which will be transcribed and synced to Evernote. Users will also be able to see recently created, updated, and viewed notes, and get reminders about items that are due. Dark Sky‘s weather information will be brought to the wrist, and according to the app release notes, it’s been designed from scratch to fit on the smaller screen of the Apple Watch.

As we’ve mentioned before, Apple Watch apps are bundled into existing iPhone apps because the iPhone powers the app while a UI is extended to the Apple Watch. This helps to preserve battery and it controls the amount of access developers have to the watch. Apps that run fully on the Apple Watch are coming in the future, but are not available yet.
The Apple Watch will be available for pre-order and try-on sessions at Apple retail stores beginning on April 10. Third-party Apple Watch apps have likely started popping up today to allow Apple Store employees to install content on demo Apple Watches that will be shown off to customers.
How to Digitally Sign a PDF Using Preview on Mac [Mac Blog]
When you receive a PDF document by email that you must sign, the process of printing out the file, signing on the dotted line with a pen, scanning the signed document and sending it back can be a rather tedious task. Fortunately, Apple introduced the ability to digitally sign a PDF document using Preview, a program that comes preinstalled on every Mac, on OS X Lion or later.

The steps involved to digitally sign a PDF using Preview on Mac are quite simple and will save you valuable time, especially if you have multiple documents, contracts, forms or other paperwork to sign. If you are worried that your digital signature will look bad, rest assured that you can create your signature by using the trackpad or holding up your signature on paper to a Mac’s built-in iSight camera. Facebook’s AI can see inside your videos and posts
Facebook connects people, but it also wants to know them so it can show relevant information and targeted ads to them. To generate a personalized feed for each user, the network needs to identify and classify content in posts, images and news. Towards that end, the company launched an ambitious AI plan, and a research laboratory, at the end of 2013. Today at F8, its annual developer’s conference, the network’s CTO Mike Schroepfer talked about a specific AI prototype that can identify content in videos and the context of words. While AI for video can identify 487 types of sport activities, another reads sentences to pinpoint possessives from the grammar used. This allows the company to sift through an overwhelming load of information so it can arrive at a newsfeed that’s most appropriate for the user. It’s unclear if the new system is already peeking through posts, but Schroepfer indicated that over the next 10 years, Facebook will focus on building advanced AI systems.

Sprint bundles Galaxy S6 in $80 all-in monthly rate plan
Sprint is doing something a little bit different for its Galaxy S6 sales, hoping it might attract customers looking to purchase the upcoming flagship smartphone.
The wireless provider will bundle the handset with unlimited talk, text, and data in one monthly rate plan. The 32GB Galaxy S6 can be leased for 24 months at a rate of $80 per month; customers receive a $20 credit toward the device itself. The 64GB model will be $85 per month while the 128GB model will run $90 per month. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is $85 per month – $5 per month after the same $20 lease credit.
Customers interested in multiple lines can grab four Galaxy S6’s with unlimited talk, text, and 20GB shared data for $200 per month. Again, this option is considered a lease and not an equipment installation cost.

AT&T has the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge available for pre-order starting tomorrow
With the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge going on sale nationwide on April 10, we’re seeing a bit of activity amongst the carriers regarding pre-orders. We have T-Mobile putting their S6/Edge variants available for pre-order starting tomorrow and like the uncarrier, so too will AT&T. However, unlike T-Mobile, AT&T will not be shipping devices tomorrow. Here’s how you can snag the device on AT&T.
You can pre-order the S6 or S6 edge from AT&T’s web site or retail locations in either black sapphire, white pearl or gold. You’ll be able to pick any of the three storage options ranging from 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. The 32GB version of the S6 will cost $22.84/month on AT&T Next 24, and the 32GB S6 Edge will cost $27.17/month on the same plan.
As far as a standard contract is concerned though, we’re not seeing anything in terms of pricing from the carrier. That said, if you do decide to go the 24 monthly installment route, you’ll get $50 off of Samsung’s Gear Circle. The kicker for that is, you don’t have to buy the new flagships, as it applies to all Samsung phones on Next. We have the press release for you below.
