One of our favorite budget-friendly smartphones of all time is on sale right now directly through Motorola’s website. From now until 10:59 a.m. CT on Wednesday, March 25th (tomorrow), you can pick up a 1st Generation Moto G with LTE support for only $159.99. Considering you’ll get a plethora of solid specifications and a $40 discount, we’d say this is a pretty great deal.
If you need a refresher, the 1st Gen. Moto G with LTE has a 4.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720. It also has a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and an Adreno 305 GPU backed by 1GB of RAM. You’ll also get a 5MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and 8GB of on-board storage that can be expanded up to 32GB. This LTE variant comes with support for HSPA+ and LTE on GSM carriers.
Even though Motorola has released a new variant, the 1st Generation Moto G is still a great device. It performs well when gaming, switching between applications, web browsing and pretty much everything else. If you’d like to see how the Moto G performs, you can check out our full review.
