Google Now can send a Hangouts message hands free
Remember that time when you couldn’t send a Hangouts message with Google Now? Me either. Well okay, you couldn’t last week. However, it won’t be long until we won’t be able to though, because it seems a recent update to Google Now enabled you to do this.
After activating Google Now voice, say “Send a Hangouts message”, and a dialog pulls up asking who you’d like to send it to, and then what the message is. You can also string everything together, such as “Send a Hangouts to Ryan message ‘I’ll see you later’” in order to send the message in one fell swoop.
This feature has been a long time coming, since you’ve been able to send a SMS, email, and other message with Google Now for a while. This is a much welcomed update!
