Temporary Root for HTC Evo 3D and HTC Sensation achieved
Developers have done it again! HTC Evo 3D and HTC Sensation have both obtained temporary root access. This opens the door for app developers to jump in and test their apps, which need root access, for compatibility.Though it is a temporary root, which implies the device will lose shell access when restarted, it is a good step forward towards achieving a permanent root.The same folks who developed the temp-root tool are also on the way to develop a tool for gaining S-OFF condition. Accordingly, they have named the tools as ‘Fre3vo’ and ‘Fre3dom’. While ‘Fre3vo’ is a temp-root acquiring tool, “Fre3dom” will achieve S-OFF on HTC Sensation as well as Evo 3D.
