Newly certified LG 5.5-inch Quad HD display must be for LG G3 Display
We’ve heard many rumours about the LG G3 over the last few days, but this piece of information definitely seems the most definitive. LG Display, LG‘s screen development unit, has received NEMKO certification of a 5.5-inch Quad HD resolution display it has been working on, which is a dead ringer for the LG G3 display. As you might expect, this means this display will have a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels which will result in 538 pixels per inch.
So far, we’ve only had suspected details about the LG G3, but the fact that it correlates with the 5.5-inch display that has been rumoured does definitely suggest the G3 is well on its way. Mass production of the display is said to kick in “shortly”, which is perfect considering the timing of the LG event on May 27th.

LG G3 rumored with Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM, and 13MP Camera

The upcoming LG G3 just got some more details according to a new leak which suggests that the device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805.
This will be coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display, and a 13-Megapixel camera featuring OIS+.
Still up for debate however is the material that the LG G3 is made out of, with some leaks suggesting plastic like the LG G2, or a metallic rear casing as suggested by @evleaks leaked image.
Interestingly, the rumoured 3,200mAh battery will also be removable but as with any leaks and rumours should be taken with precaution since anything could change before the official launch next month.

LG G3 hardware specs leaked by insider, include Snapdragon 805, 3200mAh battery and 13MP Sony Camera with OIS+
Earlier today we got our best look at what the LG G3 is probably going to look like on the outside (see here), however, we really don’t have that much of an idea of what the next LG flagship smartphone will have on the inside. An insider has leaked what will probably be the final LG G3 hardware specs which include a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a 3,200mAh battery. The inside goes on to say that the G3 will also possess a 13MP Sony camera sensor (the same as the one in the OnePlus One) which will be enhanced by OIS+ which first featured on the LG G Pro 2.
The tip from the insider does look pretty good, and it does line up with what we know about the Snapdragon 805 at least which was supposedly due in devices in May. However, the specs cited do also disagree with what we’ve previously learned about the G3, in particular that the insider says that the G3 will be made out of polycarbonate. Whether the above leaked photo is of a prototype G3 or this tip is a hoax, we’ll really only know when LG announces that device which is expected to occur at LG’s event on May 27th.
What do you think about these LG G3 hardware specs? Would you get one if it had these specifications? Let us know your opinion in the comments.

Will the LG G3 have a brushed aluminium back? This leaked photo says “Yes”
For the longest time, we have asked questions about the materials going into the LG G3: will the LG G3 have a brushed aluminium back? Will it be plastic? Recent rumours appeared inconclusive as they appear to show the LG G3 shrouded in a plastic case, hiding the material beneath. Thank to evleaks though, we have our best look at the back of the LG G3 and it looks very much like brushed aluminium is going to be the material of choice.
In the photo, you can see the outline of what should be the button of the rear volume buttons as well as the LG logo adorning what is the middle of the back cover. The brushed aluminium is, of course, desperately good looking and looks to have taken a leaf out of the HTC One M8′s book. We likely won’t need long to find out if this is the truth as the LG G3 is expected to be announced at LG’s announcement event on May 27th.

LG G3 press render leaks in white and black; shows LG’s new flagship, stylus and All [UPDATE]
Talk about LG‘s next rumoured flagship, the LG G3, has intensified greatly in the past week, which has been added to by the announcement by LG that there will be an event held in various global cities on May 27th to announce some kind of “G” device. While it’s possible LG may be announcing its Android Wear powered LG G Watch, odds are the Korean manufacturer will in fact be announcing its next flagship device and in a leak of some supposed LG G3 press render material, we get our best look at the device yet.
While these renders appear to corroborate with previous leaks that the device will indeed retain the rear volume buttons of the LG G2, probably the most notable thing in these press renders is the object embedded in the top of the device. Unless we’re mistaken, that looks awfully like a stylus. This is particularly interesting as LG has neglected to even put a stylus on its 5.9-inch LG G Pro 2, however LG may be trying something new with this device. All we can say is that if that really is a stylus, we’re fascinated to see how they’ve integrated it into the LG G3. UPDATE: We’ve also been informed this could be an TV antenna of the South Korea version of the device.
What do you think about the LG G3 having a stylus? Does this change your mind at all about the device? Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments below.

New photos of LG G3 leak, reveals front of phone

Another day another G3 leak. This time we get a glimpse of the front of the soon to be announced G3 from LG. A few days ago, we were able to bring you a pic of the back of the phone. Today, courtesy of Phandroid, we have 2 more pics to keep you salivating over this beauty.
One picture offers another look at the back of the device, which are in line with previous rumors depicting the power and volume buttons on the back. The other picture offers our first look at the front of the phone.
Looking at the new frontal photo, it seems that LG is sticking to it’s almost edge-to-edge display made famous by last year’s G2. We are expecting a display resolution that puts others to shame, squeezing 2560 x 1440 pixels into a 5.5 inch package.
We have now seen the front and back of the device along with parts of the new UI, but I’m sure LG has been able to keep a few goodies a secret.
We don’t have to wait much longer to see LG’s flagship for 2014 as it is expected to be unveiled on May 27th

LG’s G3 breaks cover with narrow bezels, redesigned back button
What do we know about LG’s upcoming G3 smartphone? Well, according to a tipster and leaked photos from GSM Arena, it appears the handset will be made of plastic, have 2 or 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery. As long as it comes with that Quad HD display we’ll be happy.

LG’s G3 breaks cover with narrow bezels, redesigned back button
Earlier this week, LG said that the G2 successor would be called the G3 and launch before July — nothing terribly shocking. Now we get to see what the upcoming device (allegedly) looks like, thanks to leaks from GSM Arena and a Korean site called Seeko. The two images seem to show different body plastics, though the device shown by Seeko (at the source) has no logo and could be a prototype. Other notable design changes from the G2 are narrower bezels and new rear buttons. Spec-wise, GSM Arena‘s tipster said it’ll have a 3,000mAh battery, microSD slot and come in 2GB and 3GB RAM versions with 16GB and 32GB of storage, respectively. We’re also expecting a Quad HD display, so hopefully it’s more grippy than it looks in the pics — we’d hate to break that.
