LG G3 and Quick Cover seen in public

Whilst the LG G3 isn’t officially released, we’ve seen many rumours surrounding the device, and even a teaser from LG to confirm the existence of the device, but as we build up to the official release on May 27th, the device has been seen out in the wild.
Not only is the device seen in the above picture, but also the associated Quick Cover accessory, and boy does it look like a big device – it seems that rumoured 5.5-inch qHD screen probably wasn’t just a rumour after all.

New LG G3 Teaser Video Shows Us Something Sexy is Coming
It has been crazy day in the internet world my friends. First, we had the Motorola event earlier today, where Motorola announced the super budget-friendly Moto E as well as the Moto G with LTE. In the movie world, the new batsuit worn by Ben Affleck hit the internet, which you probably saw multiple times on your feeds. Now how about a sexy teaser video for a new flagship phone that shows us some of that brush metal?
LG has an event coming up on the 27th of this month where undoubtedly they will announce the LG G3. They decided to tease us with this video, showing that new metal design of the LG flagship in an eccentric kind of way. It’s a must watch, and after you watch it, let us know your thoughts about it.
Nexus 8 and Nexus 6 spotted in latest Chromium Code
Last week, we were alerted to the fact that a certain codename “Flounder” might refer to an upcoming Nexus device, possibly the Nexus 8. In yet another twist, fresh Chromium code has revealed not only should the Nexus 8 be included in rumour talks, but the Nexus 6 should be too as references to the Nexus 8 and Nexus 6 were spotted in a recent code review.
Based on previous rumours, the Nexus 8 will be the device to succeed the Nexus 7 tablets, sporting what is likely to be an 8-inch display. Previous rumours have pegged either ASUS or HTC to manufacture the tablet, but we’ve yet to see any concrete evidence to support either rumour.
Similarly, the Nexus 6 is expected to be this year’s successor to the Nexus 5, which is traditionally manufactured by LG and based upon LG’s latest flagship. Whether this means it will be based on the LG G3 remains to be seen, but since it appears that LG appears to be adopting a biannual flagship release like Sony, a potential Nexus 6 may eventually be based on the LG G4 which will be released later this year.
If these code references turn out to be true references to the Nexus 8 and Nexus 6, it would certainly dispel some of the rumours surrounding the alleged end to the Nexus line of device and the start of the ‘Silver’ line, at least for now. With Google I/O approaching, I think we’re all now hoping Google has something to say about all these Nexus device rumours.
What do you think about a Nexus 8 and Nexus 6 popping up in the near future? Are you waiting for either of these devices? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

LG released a new teaser video for LG G3

It seems LG really loves teaser videos, just yesterday they released a short video showing of their upcoming LG G Watch and today we’re getting the same treatment for their upcoming flagship, LG G3.
LG G3 is going to have some fierce competition when it’s finally announced, the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One (M8), Sony Xperia Z2 and some other flagships that are already available. Regarding the specifications, LG G3 is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13MP OIS+ camera, you can find more details here.
The video itself is kind of intense, LG is showing of parts of the phone in quick flashes in a rather dark setting. We can see that the device will be curved towards the edges and that leaks so far have been rather accurate as far as the design goes. LG also uses a “Simple is the New Smart” tagline in the video.
LG G3 will be announced May 27 in London, as it says in the video itself.

LG G3 image leak shows off brushed back plates

It’s been 9 months since the LG G2 was unveiled and to this day it is a great phone. The announcement day for it’s successor, LG G3, is getting closer and along with that we’re getting more and more rumors/leaks regarding that much anticipated LG phone.
A few days ago a gold image of a possible LG G3 unit leaked showing of a brushed back plate, this time around we have a similar image showing the device in black and white colors with the same brushed back. Our best guess is that the back plate is plastic even though it kinda looks metal, we’ll let you be the judge of that.
Regarding the specs, LG G3 is rumored to have a 5.5-inch 2560×1440 QHD display, Snapdragon 805 processor along with 3GB of RAM and a 13MP camera with OIS+ included in the package. The announcement of LG G3 is going to take place on May 27, we’ll just have to wait and see what LG has up its sleeve for this much anticipated smartphone.

Yet another LG G3 leak, this time being shown off in shiny grey and White
We’re well into LG G3 leak territory now. Yet another leaked photo of LG‘s next rumoured (and basically confirmed) flagship, the LG G3, has surfaced today, this time showing off grey and white variants of the phone side-by-side. While we got a good look at the gold version yesterday (and we see it hanging around at the top of this photo too), the grey and white versions we see today basically confirm that the design of the LG G3 will most likely look like this.
While we’ve had several suggestions that the LG G3 may have a brushed aluminium back cover, it’s increasingly looking like the phone actually just has a plastic back cover that has been made to look like brushed aluminium. Aesthetic-wise, this probably isn’t much of an issue, however it will lack the more metallic feel that is so far best represented by the HTC One M8. Still, the LG G3 is looking like it’s shaping up to be a fantastic phone, with rumoured specifications like a Snapdragon 805, 3GB RAM and a 13MP camera with OIS+, assuming it is announced at LG’s event on May 27th.
What do you think about the appearance of the LG G3 in grey and white? Which would you get? Let us know in the comments.

[LEAK] All that glitters is not gold, unless you’re a gold LG G3
Another day, another LG G3 leak. The frequency of leaked photos and information regarding the rumoured flagship from LG has definitely increased the last few weeks, and small wonder considering the suspected announcement event on May 27th is only a few weeks away now. The LG G3, which is widely suspected to succeed the LG G2 at the end of May or early June, has had several leaked photos of it recently, but today we get a very clear look at what is probably close to the finished product, a gold LG G3 no less, courtesy of GSM Arena.
In the leaked photos, we get a very good look at both the front and the back of the LG G3. The back of the device looks a lot like the rumours have suspected including the rear volume buttons and a back cover that closely resembles brushed aluminium (though it has been suggested that this might just be plastic made to look like brushed aluminium). The front of the device is much more interesting to take a look at, and while it’s hard to make out in the slightly blurry photo, but the bezels are looking extremely thin on the sizes, and even the space alotted to the LG logo is minimal. Also, is it me, or does the LG G3 look pretty darn good in gold?
It’s been rumoured that the LG G3 is going to be carrying the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, a 13MP OIS+ enhanced rear camera, 3,200mAh battery and a 5.5-inch Quad HD display which has seemingly been confirmed by a formal announcement by LG Display earlier in the week. Whatever the LG G3 does end up having, it’s likely to give the other flagship smartphones out there a run for their money. What do you think about the look of the LG G3 in these leaked photos? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
