HTC Introduces Double Dip Cases for the HTC One
Still think Moto X wasn’t a game changer? After the Moto Maker was introduced to pick out what color you wanted for your Moto X, other OEMs started thinking about doing the same thing. They started adding multiple color options for their phones, and now HTC wants a piece of that action for their beloved HTC One.
HTC has introduced Double Dip cases that you can color coordinate yourself. If you head over to HTC, you can go pick yourself a case with 3 different colors on it for the price of $30. Not a bad idea honestly, so if you have an HTC One, and you want a colorful new case, hit the link provided below to go grab yourself one Let us know if you did.

HTC M8 Render Created from All the Supposed Leaked Images
Past couple weeks, the HTC M8 has made a splash in the Android Community with all these supposed leaked images that have surfaced online. From shots showing us a dual-camera, to leaked screenshots that show us a polished Sense 6, it was only a matter of time before some crafty Photoshop artist created a render for the anticipated phone.
The render above showed up from an anonymous artist that Phone Arena got a hold of. He just posted the render giving us a good look at the HTC M8 sporting one of the wallpapers that was leaked out by evleaks. Looks rather pretty, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual press render ends up looking like this. Let us know what you think of it.

New HTC M8 Image Surfaces Showing its Face Again
The HTC M8 seems to be showing up on camera every other day, and today we get the very image you see above. This comes from @HTCFamily_RU again, that leaked that first image of the HTC M8 showing that it had a dual-camera sensor. They just tweeted this image out today and it seems legit to me. We got all the signs that it is a polished Sense UI with those lovely on-screen buttons on the bottom of the screen. The location of the front-facing camera is slightly different from the HTC One, but other than that, the phone looks pretty much the the same. Give us your thoughts about this new image.

Android 4.4 Hits the Verizon HTC One. Older Galaxy Phones to Receive KitKat – Device Updates
It is Monday, so we check to see what updates happened in the past week. Android 4.4 finally hit the HTC One, or at least one carrier’s HTC One. Galaxy users with older phones will be happy to know that Samsung is planning on getting some of that KitKat on your device. Hopefully sooner than later.
Device Updates
Android 4.4 for the Verizon HTC One
Older Galaxy devices getting Android 4.4
Android 4.4.2 ready for the T-Mobile Moto X
HTC to Focus Efforts on Developing Mid-Ranged Phones
HTC has certainly seen its ups and downs…mainly downs. In 2013, they made a bold statement that said they were going to focus on their high-end HTC One line instead of making mid-ranged phones that were more budget friendly. They then threw Robert Downey Jr. in the campaign (paying him $12 million) and it ended up not being a good choice in marketing at all. Now HTC is singing a different tune.
We took our eyes somewhat off the ball
That was said by HTC CFO Chang Chialin while talking to Bloomberg, mentioning how the decisions they made last year lead to an overall decline in revenue for the Taiwanese company. So HTC is going to start focusing on mid-ranged devices as well as keeping their HTC One line going. Hopefully it work out for them this year, because they dangling on a very thin thread. Let us know your thoughts about this.
Android 4.4 KitKat Update for the HTC One Gets Approval from Verizon
Verizon HTC One users…your Android 4.4 is almost here. The Android 4.4 and Sense 5.5 update has just been approved by Verizon, and the update roll out should be anytime now. It is pretty surprising that Verizon has beaten AT&T and T-Mobile to the punch, given their track record with device updates. Sprint already released a manual update for Android 4.4, so if the OTA update for Verizon has a manual method to get it on your HTC One, then we will post it up. Other than that, keep a lookout for the update.

[LEAK] HTC M8 spotted in the wild, looking very much like a HTC One with an extra Eye
Just a few days ago, evleaks, source of many of the leaks surrounding the HTC M8, the HTC One‘s successor, suggested in one of his tweets that the new HTC flagship would look quite a lot like the One; this is definitely not a bad thing seeing as the One’s design is one of the reasons it was, and is, so popular among smartphone enthusiasts. Today, we get our first look at the device in the flesh, courtesy of a tweet from HTCFamily.ru which gives us a nice candid photo of the M8′s back.
You might be forgiven for thinking this was in fact the HTC One except for one distinguishing feature: the second camera sensor above the main camera. The existence of this dual-sensor arrangement was first alluded to when some online retailers prematurely put up cases for the unreleased device which featured an additional hole. There’s not much else to glean from this photo besides the fact this is our first look at a real HTC M8, also adoringly known as the HTC One 2, and confirming that the dual-sensor will be present, however with the expected announcement of the device to come in March, the leaks will likely start coming in thick and fast.
What do you think about the back of the HTC M8? Also, what do you think the official name of the device will be? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
