Adobe brings its handy mobile design apps to Android
Back in October, Adobe delivered a new suite of mobile apps to iOS devices. Keeping its promise to include the Android faithful as well, the company’s Photoshop Mix, Color CC, Brush CC and Shape CC are now available for download over at Google Play. Creative types running Google’s mobile OS on their devices can expect to easily transform a photo taken with a phone into vector art with Shape CC, make images edits with Photoshop Mix and build a collection of hues with Color CC. If you fancy iOS, there’s a new color capture app called Hue CC. With this bit of software, capture colors from photos to create custom Looks that can then be applied to videos in Premiere and After Effects on the desktop or Premiere Clip on a phone or tablet. All of the mobile apps are free to use, but Creative Cloud subscribers can take advantage of desktop compatibility and cloud storage for all of the stuff created while on the go.

Share event photos with friends via another new Facebook app
Facebook’s Creative Labs has produced yet another app that feels like it should be a feature within the main Facebook app rather than another icon taking up space on your smartphone. The new Moments app creates shared photo albums from a group of people at an event. Photos are curated using location information and facial recognition, individuals can share and see photos from friends that were at the same place at the same time. So instead of everyone taking a photo of a sunset, one person can take it and share it with the group via the standalone app. The technology used in the app is based on the Facebook AI Research (FAIR) team’s work. While the pitch is to share photos privately, shared photos can be uploaded to Instagram and downloaded to a user’s camera roll. So they’re private until a friend decides to put that weird face you made on their Instagram feed. Moments is available today for iOS and Android in the United States and will be rolling out to other regions over time.

Android Lollipop 5.1.1 for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is now official
The popular smartphone duo of this year has finally been receiving the Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OTA. Just as we reported earlier that Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will start receiving Android Lollipop 5.1 in June. The update is currently being rolling out to T-Mobile’s users in US. The update brings along some performance improvements and couple of new features.
The update brings along simplified exposure in the camera, wallpaper parallax effect and several minor tweaks. The Guest Mode is also included in the update, which as the name suggests allows you to switch over Guest profile preventing your personal data. This feature is handy if you are handing your device to someone else. The update also includes numerous UI changes, like the option to remove the S-finder and Quick connect buttons from the notifications shade.
Although, Google’s Lollipop 5.1.1 update has been around for a while now, but the manufacturers are adopting it very slow. The “Memory leak” issue that were present in the Android 5.0 claims to be fixed by Google in Android 5.1. The latest build also fixed the heads-up notification issue. Now you can just swipe up on the heads-up rather than dismissing it by swiping it to right, this way the notification will remain in your notification panel.
The build date of firmware is June 11 and have 635MB size. If you have not received the update yet and do not want to wait for the official update, grab the firmware from source link down below and use Odin tool to flash it. Keep in mind that the firmware source is only for T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6

Fallout Shelter brings the Fallout experience to everyone
Everyone’s heard of Fallout. Yet Bethesda games hasn’t put out a new game since Fallout 3 New Vegas. Well, last week Bethesda announced the latest iteration of the Fallout series, Fallout 4, would be coming out later this year. Last night, Bethesda held their pre-E3 conference where they announced the release date for Fallout 4, a new Doom game, and a Fallout game for mobile devices.
The game for mobile devices, called Fallout Shelter, was released to help build on the already growing anticipation for Fallout 4. The basis of Fallout Shelter is that the game puts you at the helm of a vault. You select a number, any three digit number, and that’s the vault that you control.
From there, you are walked through an introductory aspect of the game where you begin to learn the ins and outs of how to control your vault. From sending folks into the wild to gather supplies, to creating new rooms. You can even make two vault residents “make love” to grow the population.
It’s not as easy as building a room and sticking people in the various rooms. Certain people bring certain improvements to each specific workplace, and having the right people in the right places can help grow the amount of resources that the specific work room puts out. If you put someone in the wrong place, it does have a negative affect on the Vault and you can have issues like your Nuclear Reactor catching fire and spreading to the other rooms within the Vault.
Since the game was just released last night, we haven’t had the time dive all the way through the game, however, for the time that we have played, it seems like a modified version of Tiny Tower. Currently, the game is only available for iOS, but we can expect to see an Android version somewhat soon.
Lastly, Fallout Shelter is available for free with the support of In App Purchases, but they aren’t a necessity to play the game. If you’re excited for the release of Fallout 4 then this is definitely worth checking out, to help curb some of your impatience for the release of the real deal on November 10th of this year.
Let us know what you think about Bethesda releasing its’ first mobile game, and how excited you are for the release of Fallout 4 this fall.

Waze to add voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger
Navigation app Waze is bringing the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger, with his macho Austrian accent, to their Android app. You will find yourself accepting directions from the Terminator himself in Google’s community driven voice-navigation app Waze.
Waze’s official twitter account posted a teaser pic yesterday suggesting that they are adding their biggest celeb voice. Judging by the State of California Governor’s ring on the finger, it leaves no doubt that it is indeed, Arnold Schwarzenegger. You can even see his name written over it.
Tomorrow, our BIGGEST celeb voice EVER is coming to Waze! Any guesses on who? (Hint: Look at those hands!) pic.twitter.com/At6Kxusnwd
— waze (@waze) June 14, 2015
This move comes as a promotion for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s upcoming movie Terminator: Genisys due for a release on July 1.
The new update will bring Arnold’s signature catchphrases like ‘Hasta la Vista Baby’ and automated prompts in his voice to Waze’s navigation system much to the delight of the users.
The Terminator star recorded all the pre-defined prompts and catchphrases in an hour. Waze is set to push out a formal update with this addition by tomorrow.

‘Fallout 4’ special edition comes with a Pip-Boy for your phone
I don’t know about you, but I’ve wanted a Pip-Boy of my own since I first played Fallout 3. With the Pip-Boy Edition of Fallout 4, I’ll finally be able to make that happen with a real-life wrist-bound stat-tracker and menu system. The wearable (I use that term lightly) comes with a companion app that’ll be available on Android and iOS, too. The mobile love doesn’t stop there either, because tonight Bethesda is releasing Fallout Shelter, an app that lets you design your own shelter in the game, tonight on iOS. Are your bathroom breaks ready?

If you have Android Auto, you should get TuneIn Radio

Android is no longer just an operating system you choose to get on your smartphone or tablet. The industry is evolving and welcoming new platforms, form factors and applications. You can now even opt to get Android Auto with your car!
Android Auto is relatively new, so we know you will need some help trying to figure out which apps you should get for those long commutes and road trips. One of our favorites happens to be TuneIn Radio, so let’s show you what it’s all about!
What is TuneIn Radio all about?
The idea is very simple. TuneIn Radio harnesses the power of broadcast radio stations and web podcasts. Yes, you can listen to actual radio stations through the internet. The app goes as far as offering international stations, so some of us may even feel a little closer to home while driving around town listening to TuneIn Radio.
As it goes with any other Android Auto-supported app, you can control TuneIn via voice commands and never really take your eyes off the road. It’s still not the best option for those trying to discover new stations and podcasts, but you could pull your car over for that (hopefully you will!). Voice commands are pretty much for those who know exactly what they want to listen to.
How do I get TuneIn Radio?
Interested? You can get yourself signed up by downloading the TuneIn Radio app from the Google Play Store. By the way, there is no need to download any special apps for Android Auto. All the vehicle-focused functionality is built into the smartphone app, as it should be.
Oh, and it’s also available for all kinds of devices and platforms, so it’s not really only for Android Auto users. We can all take advantage of this awesome app.

Wrapping up!
We are expecting Android Auto to boom and reach many vehicles in the coming years, so expect us to cover more applications and services like this one. I personally use TuneIn radio all the time, so I can’t wait to enjoy it with Android Auto. Hopefully I can afford a new vehicle soon!
If you are lucky enough to have an Android Auto-equipped vehicle, though, do give TuneIn Radio and tell us what you think about it in the comments below! By the way, you can learn more about Android Auto by checking out our review on the 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

Many Motorola DROID Turbo owners have been in a dilemma since the release of Android Lollipop, complaining about the fact that their device is still stuck on Android 4.4.4. Since, the release of Android 5.1, there have been numerous rumors about the DROID Turbo receiving the update.
Android 5.1 was supposed to hit the Motorola DROID Turbo in the mid of June, according to reports from a Verizon device engineer last month. Motorola’s Senior Director of Software Product Management, David Schuster shed more light on this in a recent Google+ post stating that the update is still in the works.
Thanks to Verizon’s website, you can get an idea of how the Android 5.1 update will look on your Motorola DROID Turbo. While, it doesn’t update the Android version of your device, it does gives you a feel of what’s to come.

Recently, the simulator OS has been upgraded to Android 5.1, which means you can now try out all of the features that it offers like browsing or making calls, and get a gist of them all with the upgraded UI.
