[Download] Android 4.4.3 OTA Update for the 2012 Nexus 7 3G is now Available
As you may have heard, the last software update for Android, Android 4.4.3, is now available and is now rolling out to devices, most notably the Nexus devices. While the factory images for all Nexus devices are available if you like tinkering, it’s been a bit harder to track down the more easily installed OTA updates so far. Luckily though, oldblue910 over at XDA has captured the Android 4.4.3 OTA update for the 2012 Nexus 7 3G and has it available for download here.
Unfortunately, the OTA update for the Wi-Fi version of the Nexus 7 has not yet been captured, but it’s only a matter of time now before it is. The Android 4.4.3 is bringing quite a few needed bug fixes, particularly for Nexus 5 owners, though it’s surprising that this build of Android has come so close to Google I/O, essentially dampening any hope of a new software build announcement at the event at the end of June. Still, it’s always better than nothing.
Do you have Android 4.4.3 on your device yet? If so, how do you find it? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Android 4.4.3 OTA rollout started for Nexus devices, factory images also available

Long awaited, or better said rumored, Android 4.4.3 has started rolling out on LG Nexus devices after reaching Sprint’s Nexus 5 in April.
First in line is Asus Nexus 7 (2013) which is now receiving Andoid 4.4.3 build KTU84L. This update is just a bit shy of 74MB, so have that in mind. Other Nexus devices should follow in the coming days. Have in mind though that not everyone will get the update in the coming days, this rollout (like usual) will come in waves to owner of certain Nexus devices and it might take a while ’till it reaches your device. The update itself brings a lot of bug fixes and a refreshed Phone app.
Android 4.4.3 factory images are also available for certain Nexus devices, you can get them here.

[Download] Android 4.4.3 for the 2013 Nexus 7 captured in OTA Form
Earlier today, we heard about the availability of Android 4.4.3 through factory images for all the Nexus devices which is great if your bootloader is unlocked, however if you just wanted the OTA update, you have so far been out of luck. Luckily, XDA member, EthanFirst, was able to capture Android 4.4.3 for the 2013 Nexus 7 captured in OTA form (i.e. build KTU84L), which can be downloaded from the forum page here. The update comes in at about 74MB so it’s much more manageable and perfect for those with locked bootloaders.
Note that the captured OTA update is only for the 2013 Nexus 7 Wi-Fi; the update for the 4G version isn’t yet available. Likewise, OTA’s for the other Nexus devices have not yet been found, so if you spot them somewhere, or you start getting the update, we’d love to hear about it in the comments. Updates for all Nexus devices should be slowly rolling out as we speak, but will vary region to region, so don’t freak out too much if you haven’t gotten it yet.

New Android 4.4.3 Google Dialer Gives Us a Fresh Color Scheme
Android 4.4.3 is finally out in the wild, or at least for some of you out there. We got word that T-Mobile Nexus 5 users were suppose to receive the Android 4.4.3 update starting today, and sadly I am a Tmo Nexus 5 user, and I haven’t seen the update yet. Yes, I have yet to root my N5, so I can’t be cool and just load it up on my phone.
A new Google Dialer screenshot then started to floating around the community today, and it of course has a new color scheme which we heard about. We then thought we had an apk download for anyone on KitKat to use, but sadly it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. I downloaded it onto my N5 and it completely took away my dialer app, so I recommend NOT INSTALLING THE NEW GOOGLE DIALER quite yet, until we figure out if it is legit working on devices out there. If you have installed the new Dialer and you are not seeing your dialer icon anymore, just head into your app settings and remove all updates for the Google Dialer. Meanwhile, let us know if you like the new dialer look, and if you got yourself some Android 4.4.3 yet.

Android 4.4.3 Factory Image for Nexus Devices Released
Earlier this morning T-Mobile support page listed Android 4.4.3 updates were heading out to the Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013). It brought up a lot of questions, like, will the unlocked versions be getting it. It is a given that the unlocked versions for those devices would be receiving the update, the news was centered around T-Mobile’s carrier versions. For those that might be a little bit more than irritated by the news, there is some other good news out there for you guys. Google has just released the Android 4.4.3 factory image for the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. It does seem to be missing for the Nexus 7 LTE version though. The file size rolls through at 444MB’s and you’ll need fastboot set up to to get it installed.
If you know what you are doing and just can’t wait for the update to roll trough to your device, then head over to developers.google.com and pick up your image and get to work.

Schedule for Android 4.4.3 update to Samsung devices is Leaked
We’ve heard quite a lot about the upcoming Android software build, Android 4.4.3, with a partial bug fix list having been already leaked out. After a alleged dogfooding build was apparently spotted being released to Google employees, we’ve been eagerly waiting for word on when we can expect this new build which is plague quite a few users, mainly Nexus 5 owners. Well, the puzzle pieces are starting to fall into place as an internal document from Samsung which lays out the Android 4.4.3 update to Samsung devices and suggests that they are already integrating Android 4.4.3 into the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 (no Note 3 yet it seems).
Additionally, a list of devices that have been planned to get the current build of software, Android 4.4.2, was also leaked out and suggests Samsung is still diligently working to update most of its mid-to-high end devices. Most notable on this list, unfortunately, is the Galaxy S3 (3G version) which appears to have no estimated released date due to the software being unstable. Hopefully it does come through at some point as it would be a shame if 2012′s flagship were to be left by the wayside.
It looks like Android 4.4.3 is well on its way to devices already, though it could be a little while longer thanks to manufacturer and carrier integration. What do you think about the schedule in the leaked documents? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
