Yesterday the new LG Watch Urbane made its debut on the Google Store for a good portion of the world to order. It carried a $349.00 price tag with a ship date starting May 8th. Prior to that news we got our hands on some information that Verizon Wireless would be carrying the device on April 28th. Looks like the docs panned out and Verizon is indeed offering the new Android Wear toting device.
Running through the order process I see that Verizon is offering FREE 2-day shipping on all orders. That would place the LG Watch Urbane to your door by April 30th if you get your order in now. If you want to shell out a few bucks more, $12.99, you can opt for overnight delivery. The only potential downside is that the Verizon offering is only available in silver with the gold option not present. If the silver variant was your choice to begin with, then the $0.99 difference to have the device a week earlier than those who jumped on the Google Store option is a small price to pay.

Along side Verizon, AT&T is also going to be selling would be buyers the LG Watch Urbane. They are listing it online today for $349.00 and it will be the same Silver offering that Big Red is getting their hands on. Shipping is free for standard shipping where as express will cost you $14.95. AT&T is a little less open on the timeline, but I chatted with a rep and was told standard would be 3- 5 days and express would be 1-2. Verizon has the upper hand for $0.99 more, at least until they hit store shelves. It all depends on if you have any carrier loyalty or if you just want the watch as fast as possible. Hit the links below to check out the press release and bounce to the order page if you are ready to toss your money at the latest Android Wear toting device from LG.
As a reminder, the LG Watch Urbane packs all the same innards that most other Android Wear devices sport with a Snapdragon 400 processor, 410mAh battery, 1.3-inch 320×320 P-OLED display and 4GB of storage. It does sport Wi-Fi and runs Android 5.1 out of the box though. So that is a perk for those looking to leave their phone at home.

Mophie Juice Pack for the LG G4 to increase battery life by 80%
Mophie’s new LG G4 case promises to give you more screen on time with the device. This juice pack for the smartphone will supposedly amp up the battery life by up to 80%, which is pretty impressive for a third party accessory.
The company has similar accessories for almost all flagships out there, so it was only a matter of time before they showed us something for LG’s newly launched flagship as well.
The Mophie Juice Pack has a 3,450 mAh battery inside, which should bring in at least 15 additional hours of talk time. The LG G4 comes with a 3,000 mAh battery by default, so the extra capacity will certainly help. The accessory won’t come for cheap though and you will need to shell out $99.99 for this case.
In addition to serving as an additional battery, the case also does what it’s supposed to – keeping your device safe thanks to the rubberized pads located around it. Mophie is currently taking pre-orders for this accessory and will start shipping it from late June.

The latest edition to the Android Wear mafia has made its self available through the Google Store today. The highly anticipated LG Watch Urbane is now available to help your drain your bank account a further $349, a full $100 more than the Moto 360 usually lists at (it is on sale for $179 by the way). Would be buyers have the option to choose the silver housing version or the gold housing version. (looks more copper or bronze to me)
Either watch housing option is available for order, but don’t expect it to hit your doorstep next week. Looks like they will start leaving the warehouse on May 8th. We have seen early orders of devices leave and arrive sooner than listed in the past though. According to the country availability page for devices, the LG Watch Urbane orders are only being accepted for Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States. My heart-felt apologies to everyone else at the moment. It at least has a broader scope of availability than the LG G Watch R has at the moment.
The exterior of the watch design is the bulk of your purchase as the innards are sporting the same Snapdragon 400, 410mAh battery, 1.3-inch 320×320 P-OLED display and 4GB of storage. In the box you will get the watch, charging cradle, Micro USB charging cradle, travel adapter and your usual reading material.
Interested? Bounce to the Google Store and get and order in. Otherwise, for those in the states, you can give it a few days and see if it hits Verizon as I expect it to or other store shelves before the shipping timeline.
