Sprint’s latest Galaxy S7 update brings battery life and security enhancements
Sprint has started pushing out a fresh update to the Samsung Galaxy S7, bringing along improvements to battery life and voice over Wi-Fi, along with a bump to the latest April security patches. After applying the update, you should find your Android security patch level up-to-date with the April 2 patch, and your software version should come in at G930PVPU2APD3.

The update is rather large, coming in at 141.93MB — so you may want to ensure you’re connected to Wi-Fi before downloading. And as with all update rollouts, this one may take some time to land for everyone. However, you can check by heading to the “About Phone” section of the Settings menu and tapping “System updates.”

The Rock wants you to wake up and smell what he’s cookin’
It can be difficult to get up and going in the morning, especially on Mondays. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has no trouble in the motivation department, and the actor/pro wrestler is looking to lend a hand with your morning routine. The Rock Clock is an alarm app that allows you to input goals you’re working to achieve so you can wake up with some motivation from The Rock himself. There’s over 20 alarms too choose from, ranging from the sound of a chain saw to songs and regular clock sounds voiced by Johnson.
If you like to set your alarm a few minutes early so you can hit the snooze button a few times, this app will break you of that habit as it doesn’t offer a snooze feature. Why? “The Rock is not a fan of the snooze button.” Understood. For folks who are really looking to get a head start on things, you can choose to wake up with The Rock… at 4:15 AM. He really likes the early-morning cardio.
As you tap through the screens of the app, entering goals and what not, The Rock is there to offer encouragement with “you got this” or “it’s on” and other phrases. Rock Clock also promises “exclusive video messages” from Johnson, the first of which was captured from his phone while he drove down the road. He says he’ll be checking in regularly, so let’s hope he finds a safer time to deliver these updates. If you’re looking for some added motivation, the free alarm clock app is available for iOS and Android now.
