Upcoming Huawei Honor 7 to feature fast charging technology
Earlier in June, the first leaks for the upcoming Huawei Honor 7 appeared, revealing some of the device’s specs that included: a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, and Huawei’s own Kirin 935 processor. Today however, Huawei revealed a new teaser poster for its yet-to-be released smartphone, announcing that the device will feature a quick charging technology as the one found in high-end devices such as the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge and the HTC One M9.
In addition, Huawei announced that the Honor 7 will have a sapphire lens to protect the phone’s camera and have a new physical button with customizable functions. Previously, Huawei revealed that the Honor 7 will have a back facing finger print scanner, dual-sim capability and a full metal body.
The official announcement is due next week, June 30th. The device is expected to launch with android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, and be priced at CNY 1,999 ($322, €287) in China.
