T-Mobile’s JUMP! On-Demand program lets customers upgrade phones three times a year

by John_A

T-Mobile customers will soon be able to walk into its retail stores and upgrade their smartphone with even less of a hassle. What’s more, subscribers will be able to do it more often, too. The Uncarrier’s new #UncarrierAmped initiative builds on its previous JUMP! upgrade policy.

Starting June 28, T-Mobile’s new JUMP! On Demand program lets customers upgrade their devices up to three times per year. What’s more, it no longer costs $10 per month to have the luxury of the upgrade service.

If and when you are ready to trade in your device you’ll take it to T-Mobile who will perform a three-point check to ensure it’s good to go. And, with qualified credit, you’ll be able to walk out with the new device without spending a penny. Yes, that means sales tax, too.

With Jump! On Demand, you make payments on your phone for 18 months. After 18 months, you can simply turn in your phone with nothing more to pay, or upgrade to your next new phone and start a new plan, or make a final payment and keep your phone.

Customers already enrolled in the current JUMP program can trade in toward a new smartphone with JUMP! On Demand for free the next time they process an upgrade. Those of you who want device insurance (Premium Handset Protection), it now only costs $8 per month.
