Google launches #andproud campaign for LGBT Pride Month

This month, cities worldwide are hosting parades in celebration of LGBT Pride Month and Google, a longtime supporter of the LGBT community, wants everyone to attend one even if its virtual. On June 27, Google will launch an global online Pride parade filled with characters designed with Androidify. The app received an update that includes rainbow-colored accessories and Google wants characters wearing them to be shared and featured in their parade. It is all part of the new #andproud campaign that reflects on Android’s “Be together, not the same” mantra.
