Spark LTE launched by Sprint in Kansas City

Sprint SparkSprint has brought their new Sprint Spark LTE connectivity to their hometown of Kansas City today. Adding it into the list of 11 other markets that already have access to the enhancements. Sprint Sparks peak data speeds is said to be at 60MBPs with potential speeds triple that by 2015.

“Sprint Spark is a revolutionary combination of capabilities unmatched by any other wireless provider,” said Sprint CEO Dan Hesse. “We plan to bring the most advanced wireless technologies in the world to our hometown.”

Along side Kansas City, customers in the following location have Sprint Spark available:

In Texas

  • Austin
  • Dallas
  • Fort Worth
  • San Antonio
  • Houston

In Florida

  • Tampa
  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Miami

Other locales

  • Los Angeles California
  • New York City New York
  • Chicago Illinois

As for compatible devices that should see an increase in the areas above, you have the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy Mega, LG G2, Nexus 5 and the HTC One max.

Anyone out there sporting one of those devices in any of those areas seeing a data speed increase?
